A comedy about how children sometimes give their parents a big surprise. Theresa takes time out from her university studies to spend the weekend at the parental home. She brings Andy with her. To her parents’ surprise, Theresa introduces Andy to them as her husband. Then Andy’s parents arrive and are given the same surprise. The young couple married two weeks ago. To compound the surprise caused by the marriage, it turns out that the newlyweds barely know each other. Students of psychology, they have had a great idea: they will try to find true, undying love through marriage – i.e. by marrying before starting to ‘date’. All those involved are forced to wrestle with the problem, together and on their own, resulting in no shortage of amusing moments. This comedy is based on humorous dialogue between and among characters, so guaranteeing an entertaining evening for the audience.
